Bellingham Homes is excited to have the opportunity to restore this important and centrally located part of the lovely market town of Halesworth. We hope to replace the modern buildings on site with new homes in keeping with the architecture and style of the surrounding properties and restoring the houses that were demolished in the late 1970’s by the MR King Dealership.

The Dealership office (previously the ‘Oriental Pub’) is now undergoing restoration and repair works externally and internally we have removed the office cabinets and shelving, staff kitchen cabinets and carpet tiles in order to understand the original structure and the changes that have been made to it over the years. This building will be retained 

These plans will involve the removal of all of the tarmac and hard surfaces now covering the entirety of the site and enable much softer green landscaping and the restoration of the view towards the Maltings Building at the top of the hill. We are particularly pleased to be able to bring back housing to Halesworth that will allow residents access to the Thoroughfare (‘High Street’) and the nearby train station without the need for car journeys further supporting our local shops and businesses.
